Subject: Good Park - Please pass along to other members as well
Good afternoon all!WOW! What a time we had Saturday at the park! It feels food to get a project completed, and even more to have great success in doing so. The Association needs to pat ourselves on the back, exhale, and move on to the next big thing.As a result of our event, I was approached with a request about Good Park. Joe Galloway is on the Park & Rec Board. He read about our event in Fridays paper ( Thanks much Chris!) and came to our event to get some support as he didn't know where else in the community to go.Good Park has a plan for renovation that is now over 3 years old due to funding. Apparently, there is some kind of grant available for playground equipment, which he was just made aware od on FRIDAY! He is asking for letters of support for the application. Now here is the catch - he needs the letters by Friday as the application is due in on Monday! Can we as a Neighborhood Association fulfill this request? Joe is also seeking individual letters, and although he did stop by and leave me a letter of request, I do not have a scanner available to send it out. I will however be glad to share it with whoever can, or anyone interested in fulfilling this simple request.
